Met with Dan O'Connor and Scott Tyo at Tops. Scott is new to their team so it was nice to have him in the meeting and get a chance to know him. Tops felt they had a fairly successful cherry season last year and wants to exceed that this year. They are especially interested in growing their Rainier business and plan to include Rainiers in their promotional activity. They plan to start early and promote all the way through. Unfortunately, Jeff Cady was on vacation so I did not get a chance to visit with him this year, but he is a good friend a good supporter of cherries.
