I met with Michael Grube the Produce Category manager as Jason Anderson, the Produce Director, was in Nebraska arranging his move. The entire purchasing department has been relocated to the new Wisconsin office complex. We had a great meeting discussing all details of this year's cherry and apricot crop. Mike and I worked together at SuperValu and he really gave me an overview of Affilliate operations and plans. They will promote cherries to the fullest as they feel their image with retailers is enhanced. Cherries represent more than the dollar sales to them. They appreciated our input and want our weekly updates.
