Today I met with Gino Latessa. Gino said he had just had a visit by one of his shipper's reps and also talked to another shipper. He said "looks like a great season". We went through all of our presentation materials and discussed merchandising ideas for the crop if it comes on like we think it could. One area we talked about was secondary displays and getting customers purchasing cherries early in the season and motivating them to become weekly cherry shoppers. Gino ordered some P.O.P. materials and wants our regular e-mails as the season gets going.
