I met with Angie Wilson. She has replaced Bethany Huber as Produce Director. Angie has been with Jay C for 20 years and is very knowledgeable about produce. As this was our first meeting, we had a very long meeting. She explained the excellent success of their "Ruler" chain and its growth. As they are owned by Kroger, they have good support, but they are independent and run their own ads and merchandising. We went through our promotional materials and she ordered presentation pieces to use in meetings and was getting back to me with P.O.P. needs.
