Today James Michael and I met with Aaron Daniels and Chris Grammer. Aaron explained that he was assuming a different responsibility and Chris Grammer was assuming his responsibilities. We discussed last year's crop and then moved to this year's crop projection. We spent time discussing the crop size, timing, and the later season opportunities. As Chris has been with Kroger over 20 years in their produce operations, he seemed very interested in our info and materials. They offered some merchandising ideas and we discussed our thoughts to help them promote cherries. James will contact their social media department when Chris E-mails the contact information. Chris seemed quite interested in using our materials to inform their retail associates. They would like something to send retail to get them informed and thinking of this year's crop. Chris also asked for all the crop update info we have to offer as the season develops. James and I will follow through and maintain contact to sustain his pre-season enthusiasm.
