I had a meeting with Vince Mastromauro. He was quite busy and asked if I could be brief but started to ask questions and extend the call as he saw the 2014 opportunities. He was quite busy due to it being Passover. As they are a high end retailer, and handle a lot of large size fruit, he is hoping that this year's crop will size up. He said that the Chicago market has a lot of new competition and he needs to set himself apart. As they have been very good supporters of Washington fruit in the past, he said that he would put a lot of effort into his sales for this year as cherries are a great image builder. He was extremely happy with his apricot sales the last few years and we talked about different display and packaging that would increase the sales even more. He asked for a lot of our materials and asked for the Profit piece to be sent electronically so he could present it in a retail sales' meeting..
