I met with Ed Kopeneck and Jeff Smith. I also talked about the 2014 crop with Dan Cassaro. We discussed how last year's crop offered challenges, especially the pricing/supply issues. They were very interested in our materials that explained and promoted later season fruit. They will discuss this info with their merchandisers and place an order with me for promotional materials. We discussed packaging and how their customers reacted to various bags. They really would like to see more cherries on the header. They offered bagged apricots last year and found out how successful that became. For this year we discussed new varieties and the opportunity to obtain extra sales.
