Today I met with Jeff Umbenhower. As Jeff heads up the catagory, and I talk to his retail customers, he was very receptive to our information. We both agreed, that the information I presented would help their position to sell more fruit. He was very interested in the crop and its timing. For them to get their retailers, thinking of cherry ads early, and through August, is important. As we covered our P.O.P. and material, he said he will want some, to cover with his sales staff to get them excited to sell to retailers. He asked about our health page to be made into a poster and I informed him it was being considered. They said they felt they would want to carry only gussetted bags this year.
