I had a meeting witth Eric Haacker. He explained that Jewel was now in control of their operations, buying,merchandising and all ad planning. After some conversation about last year's cherry sales, Eric felt that due to Jewel's aggressive cherry merchandising, they will need all of the sales they can get. We discussed this year's crop/promotion and timing. Eric ordered presentation packs to have meetings with their merchandisers and get them "pumped up". They want some of the new health info and will contact me for other materials.
