I met with Zack DeHart today to present our 2013 NW cherry promotion. Zack was so impressed with W/Newalls 2012 sales that he was all ears and very intentative. We had good dialogue discussing sizing, packaging and the Rainier crop. We then discussed the opportunities for each of their regions to promote both red and Rainiers with their retailers. They are very interested in our radio tags as many of their retailers do their own in-store radio.
Zack and myself discussed how each and every division must follow through to get ad copies and proof of performance to Zack at the season's end. I explained to Zack that we cannot have enough manpower to police all of their divisions and he agreed. This year should be better and Zack is committed to make it work and promote very often.
