I had a meeting with Brian Hortstein today. He was looking for a lot of information concerning ideas to murchandise both types of retail formats with cherries on the same week. We discussed sizing issues and how customers react to different sizing and pricing. Brian is very committed to extensive N/W Cherry ads and "other" instore promotion opportunities. We discussed packaging and he was really high on the Chile grape bags and would love to have cherries in them. He menyioned meeting the produce director from Marsh and asked me to pass on his greetings when I call on him next week.
