Tony Mitchel and I met. As I call on many of his accounts, I told him how they were really looking forward to a good N/W Cherry season and he agreed as many of them have commented to him. He felt that the later than planned start of Calif. cherries could mean later fruit in the season. We discussed the degree day charts and the emailing of them to him and his buyer. He really liked them. They offered display pieces last year for secondary displays and will do it again this year, We also discussed apricots and getting into them as soon as available. They have stayed w/Calif. overlaping Wash. fruit in the past.
