I met with Dan Bates and Zach De Hart. We had a long discussion about last years' promotions and this year's likely opportunities. There is a feeling that the economy being poor, and the high gas and food prices, it will put pressure on cherry pricing. There is also concern that with this economic market as it is, a lot of retailers are looking for low priced items on the front page of the ad. Knowing how important cherry sales are to the bottom line, they will make promoting them a must.
