I met with Dan Dipple. He felt their sales were very good considering the quality and variety of problems the industry has been experiencing. As I presented the new cherry programs, Dan took many notes and asked a lot of questions for ideas to merchandise cherries this year. He is looking to get the sleeves for spot displays and out of dept. displays. He liked our program to do other forms of merchandising. He does hot buys which he showed me produce 3-4 times the normal volume. He feels Rainiers really will fit into that catagory. He also is considering a display contest among his stores.
