I met with the head buyer and two merchandisers. We discussed the structure of their business model and how we could work together to drive NW Cherry sales this year. After my presentation, they requested materials to present to Central's Advisory Board. These are the top retailers and they are working to have a buy-in to aggressively promote cherries. They are taking materials out to their retail groups to present them. They are looking for ways to improve their Rainier Cherry sales this year. We reviewed data from our Rep. kit and looked for areas to assist them.
