Met with Mat Blair at the Tops office in Williamsville, NY.  Tops and Price Chopper have now combined under Northeast Shared Services, and Mat is the Business Manager for both for cherries. Mat is very interested in continuing to emphasize thecherry commodity for both Tops and Price Chopper, and I am looking for full support from him for both retailers. Since Mat is new, and this was my first meeting with him, we covered all of the services that Northwest Cherry Growers offers. Mat is also interested in digital opportunities, and is having Kevin Murray from their office, who does the digital marketing, contact me to see what opportunities are there.
