I talk with Erin Tice about our promotions and the recent hot weather.  She was actually in the Northwest during the heat wave.  She said it was crazy to see what was going on.  Some of the suppliers were able to cool the cherries at the orchards after picking which helped out.  Some others had to transport cherries to the warehouse which was tough on the cherries.  She said it will be interesting to see how things go and seemed worried about the rest of the season.   Labor was definitely an issue with the hot weather and she mentioned the H2A workers.  She mentioned they had one rejection on June 29th.  We are set to run a sales contest the week of July 7th.  Sprouts is running several cherry varieties that week.  They are also going to run a superstore battle the week fo 7/21 with 12 superstores.  I'm providing some give aways like hats for the event.
