I had a really great call with Jerry Wilson today.   He was very receptive to my ideas and understands fully how the crop can be late this year but he insists that he will just tack it on to the end of the season.  He is eager to do a better job this year than last year as all of this was new to him last year.  He seemed very interested in doing a display contest, but has decided to wait until next season as he already has 2 other contests lined up for his Produce managers for this year.  But this does give us a few options to offer him in the future.  They are still operating 41 stores and most of them are big stores they purchased from Publix, Ingles, Kroger, and others.  He told me they had a fantastic sales week last week during the Easter Holiday.
