Met with Matt Carroll, Colleen Regan and Nichole Sousa at the BJ's office.  This year, we are planning a country wide demo on cherries that will be supported by NWCG and by BJ's and perhaps their suppliers.  They will provide us with reports on movement during the demo so we can see the results of the promotion.  For years, we have also been trying to talk them into secondary displays at the entrance to the store which they have not been able to do because they will only display cherries in a refrigerated display.  Matt told me that they are looking at a program where they may be buying some free standing refrigerated bins that they will be able to put in high traffic areas of the store.  They will probably not have them for this summer but he feels they may have them next year, and they will use them for cherries.
