I met with Mike Erickson. He called me to change the meeting to the Hopkins facility as he now oversees the buyers. SuperValu is making many changes in their structure and he is not sure where we will meet on each visit. We then discussed some of their associates new roles.  He said they have very aggressive cherry merchandising plans scheduled. A super big one in mid July. 

They have been using all sizes as their customer base demands. Although they are steering them to larger sized fruit. They have Cub on some wild cherries and have pushed Rainiers. I presented our stone fruit program and how to extend the summer fruit sales past the traditional  Labor Day end of summer.

Note: Today is Steve Colemans last day as he is retiring.  Steve has been a very strong supporter of N/W Products and I will work closely with Mike to continue the support.
