I met with Doug Weikert. We discussed the cherries he had in his stores and the merchandising directions that have been asked. I visited his stores before our meeting and found multi displays in the store. Some in the front entrance, some in the produce dept, and some in the bakery deli. area.Doug has big plans to sell record amounts of cherries as the pricing is at A level to create good selling retails. We discussed stone fruit, peaches and their need to have Colorado Peaches in their market.
