Had a great meeting with Don Parsons today for about 45 minutes.  He was out several weeks last year with back issues, just about the time we were gathering ads to wrap up the 2016 season.   He expects to have a big year on cherries and promised more support this year than last.  He was telling me all of the problems with California vegetables and also brought up the fact that he feels the southern peach crop is in a lot worse shape than initially thought.  He said that he needs our cherries to support extra sales dollars and plans to promote much more this year than in past.  Great visit.
