Had a great account call with Derik Christian at Hitchcock markets. He is very excited about the upcoming cherry crop and promises to give us good ad support with features and sub feature ads. He said last year was a little frustrating as could not get all of the cherries he needed at certain times. Was planning on doing a display contest, but could not be guaranteed supplies so he did not get to do it. I later visited one of his stores and it was by far, the best store I had been in all week. Product was fresh and presented well. The quality and size of the fruit was 2nd to none. They have had a new Publix store open just a 1/2 mile from one of their stores and office. He said that the first few months hurt but can see more traffic starting to return. Great Call!!
