I met with Jeff Dugan. WE spent time talking about their merger with Nash Finch. They continue to work on theis systems to marry the two companies but it is not completed as of yet. They will continue to buy at both locations until the are up and running. WE discussed me calling on the Minn. division and he said that it was perfectly fine and encouraged me to continue.We discussed sale and how they were doing this year. As most of the retailers I called on have told me they are a struggle due to strawberry issues etc, I discussed how cherries should help make up the sales, but I really hope that they do not have a flush in the crop at our peak. WE discussed back to back ads to keep them moving and the better $$ value they have over berries. WE also discussed Apricots as an up and coming item with the younger generation and the need to promote them. Jeff asked that I keep him informed of opportunities with Cherries as the season progresses.,
