Had a fantastic meeting with Richard McKellogg at Lowes Food in Winston Salem. This was actually my first meeting with Richard as he was not able to meet with me last year. The meeting went great. I was scheduled for a 20 minute appointment but we talked for over an hour. Dick realizes the importance of Northwest cherries to his department and mentioned how excited he was and his customers as well when cherries start hitting the stores. He told me he planned on promoting Cherries heavily this year and that he appreciates all that the Commission does for him. All in All one of the best meetings I have had with my 2 years on the job. I feel that we really connected and he will give us a lot of support.
