During my visit with Dominic this season, I learned that they have had a change in philosophy in their stores. Previously they had been judged almost exclusively on shrink, but they have learned that while their shrink has gone down, so have their sales. For the last couple of years, we have been trying to get them to set up a secondary cherry display at the front of the store but they have been reluctant because of concern about shrink. Dominic says they will this year finally be able to build these entrance displays. He wlll have them built across the entire base of stores and will gather photos to show compliance. They will track the sales compared to the shrink and share that data with us.
