I had a very pleasant meeting with Carl Moore today of Galaxy/IGA stores. Carl and I go back a long way, back in the 1970's when Carl was a produce manager for A&P in Raleigh NC and I was a produce buyer. We sat up several stores together back then and have maintained a cordial relationship since then. We discussed the upcoming Cherry crop and the opportunities we have to promote this year. Carl plans to give us as much support as possible and is looking into running ads for us starting just after June 10. A real good meeting.
