HAD A WONDERFUL MEETING WITH RICARDO CARBONELL. HE STILL HOLDS BELIEF THAT PRICING OF CHERRIES MAKES IT PROHIBITIVE TO ADVERTISE CHERRIES FOR HIS PARTICULIAR CLINTELE. HE ALSO SAYS HIS CUSTOMERS ARE DIFFERENT THAN OTHER CUSTOMERS AT DIFFERENT CHAINS NOT ONLY IN MIAMI BUT ALL OF U.S. AND YOU CAN NOT COMPARE THEM. HOWEVER AFTER A VERY CORDIAL MEETING AND BOTH OF US STATING OUR POINT OF VIEW I REALLY BELIEVE THAT A FEW SEEDS WERE PLANTED AND RICARDO MAY ADVERTISE CHERRIES FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MANY YEARS. WE WERE BOTH LAUGHING AND EXCHANGING IDEAS. I TOLD HIM TO CHECK OUT THE 2 LB CLAM SHELLS AT THE ALDI'S JUST UP THE STREET FROM HIM. THIS SEEMED TO REALLY GET HIS ATTENTION AND HE LIKED THE IDEA THAT HIS CUSTOMERS WOULD KNOW EXACTLY HOW MUCH THEY WOULD BE PAYING UP FRONT, IN A SMALLER CONTAINER THAT WAS MORE AFFORDABLE, AND NOT GET STICKER PRICE SHOCK WHEN THE CASHIER WOULD LET THE CUSTOMERS KNOW HOW MUCH THE CHERRIES WERE. RICARDO SAID HE WAS GOING TO LOOK INTO THIS AND LIKED THE CONCEPT. HE ASKED ABOUT LOGO AND FEEL THAT THIS JUST MIGHT BE THE YEAR CHERRIES GET ADVERTISED.
