It is a very attractive store that they have continued to improve over the years, with updated produce, deli and seafood departments. They had the market for the entire town until this year when a Market Basket opened down the street. He has cut his prices and margins in an attempt to compete but has still lost nearly 30% of his volume. They are continued to competing for their market share but realize that Market Basket will make it tougher. The new Market Basket store was very nice. It will be interesting to see how the area handles both.
