I met with Ed Osowski the Produce Director and Kathleen Crow the Marketing Representative from C.M.I. We had a very interactive meeting discussing a multitude of merchandising areas. We discussed ad weeks and a complete merchandising plan for both cherries and apricots for this year. Ed would like to have a two tier cherry program, but it would take an additional PLU for the larger fruit. They will do their apricot promotion again this year. Ed was very concerned about what will happen to their summer's merchandising plan as he wants to promote cherries, but they have many items that have been planned that must be addressed. Ed will contact me for P.O.P. and will work with their ad people with our social media opportunities.
