I met with Mike Zemla. He informed me that he is retiring at the end of May. He introduced me to Dan Hawkins who will be replacing him as the Director of Produce. We had a very good meeting relating our opinions and discussing what we need to do to enhance this year's N/W cherry crop. Dan was very inquisitive and wanted to be informed about our crop and our promotional materials. I explained the commission?s function and we will discuss the crops progression by e-mail and phone conversations.
