I met with Lou Jacobs. It was the day after Easter and he mentioned that their sales were much greater than anyone expected. He said they are going through multiple remodels and they were experiencing great growing pains. We went through our presentation materials and Lou asked me to keep him informed of the timing and quality as he wants to get the most sales and cherry interest he can from this season. We discussed displaying, pricing, and packaging. I offered to supply materials to him for his merchandisers and district managers to take to their retail stores to use for promoting cherries. We discussed apricots and promoting them to get additional sales. Lou wants me to keep him on top of the crop?s progression.
