Met with Alexa Conciatori at her office. Had also hoped to meet with Josh Padilla, the new Director of Produce, but he unfortunately was detained in a meeting. However, Alexa is the one I’ve been dealing with  for years, and she is the day to day responsible person. Updated her on the size and timing of the 2026 crop. Also spent some time updating her on the issue with growers unable to harvest because of a weak FOB, and let her know about the partner award sustainability contest. Told her that because of budget constraints, I had to make adjustments to the offering this year, and she was really disappointed that  the display contest was not taking place this year. She felt this was a good program that really helped the cherry movement during the season. Told her that I hope to have it back next year.
