Met with Lou Scagnelli at his office. Alpha 1 is responsible for setting ads for Market Fresh C-Town, and Bravo stores in New England and in Florida. They service about 275 total stores.  Briefed Lou on our expectation for crops size and timing. Last year Lou gave us good support, exceeding the promotion potential through the use of some of the bonus program. We spoke to some length about the health benefits, and I encouraged him to take full advantage of the bonus opportunity there. Showed him all of the health benefits that are listed in the 2023 Season Summary, and he said he will use them on a rotating basis in all of his ads this year.  Also offered again this season the opportunity to do a store level sales and display contest. Lou likes the idea of doing that and tried to get his stores involved last year but was not successful. He will try it again this year because he thinks it’s a good way to get the stores to build larger displays, and take advantage of the impulse buyer
