I met with Doug Weikert. Doug was very happy with this years cherry season as they blew away all other years sales. They used some small fruit in their price stores that did very well. The y have been instructed that they never get beat "price wise" on their front page ad items. This year they got as low as $!.27 lb. As they are now spread out in multi states, they have new challenges  when planning ad item. Doug did discuss the mahogany color  that the fruit had this year. He felt that it helped sales. They finished up with Montana fruit that he felt had great quality.
