I met with Ben Bowditch today as John Schnellman was on vacation. Ben was extremely helpful as we work together on Stone Fruit. Ben indicated that they had a very good cherry season even though it was a bit short. They had very large fruit all season and it was of good quality. He didn’t have total case comparisons to last year, but felt it was every bit as good. They run a lot of ads including doing a “foodie promotion” with Rainier Cherries. We discussed the Stone Fruit season and he said due to this being his first year with Lund’s he didn’t get logos in his ads. He also said he ow knows the ropes and will take advantage of our programs next year.
