I had a meeting with Mark Deem , but  he went on a vacation and set me up meeting with Josh Omedeo. He was so open to tell me about his cherry season. He mentioned that although they normally specialize in organics, and most of their base likes organics, this year seen changes. He said a lot of them asked for more conventional so they could be more price competitive and be able to advertise. He said the retailers were happy with the results and most likely would do it again. He said their overall volume increased because of it. They did handle organics and continued to do well with them. We discussed the color of the fruit and sizing. We discussed Wash. St. stone fruit and the organic crop we have. They have been in a Calif. program.
