I met with Jeff Tomassetti and Joyce Williams. They did run weekly ads all season but felt the ads didn't produce anything close to last years ads. They felt the cherries were wonderful and well priced, but the customers didn't respond. This was the first year in many that they experienced a need to dump some product. Was very costly. They couldn't fault the product and seemed perplexed as to the soft interest. They are looking to move into Wash. stone fruit by the end of August.
