I met with Mike Erickson. We discussed them being acquired by UNFI and how the operation was progressing.  Mike seen some real positive signs and was quite pleased. We discussed the cherry crop and  like so many others, he was not happy with the Calif. deal , as he had great difficulty supplying stores.  He said he will be featuring cherries all the way thru the entire season.

We then discussed the stone fruit program and where it could fit into their divisions.  As there are so many peach s grow in so many areas, the wind up having to buy fruit to fill each divisions individual needs. He will definitely use the fruit in his Western Divisions.
