I met with David Kidder and Travis Stickler to discuss this years cherry promotions. As there have been many position changes at Meijer this year, David and Travis are new to the cherry catagory this year, I knew David from past years when he was a cherry buyer. He now heads up category management.

We talked about red, rainier,organic cherries in depth and although they have been trying to increase  We discussed the need to clarify organics packaging to be more identifiable, it still a struggle and plenty of shrink.  There will be another stone fruit buyer and they will send her contact info.
