I met with Joshua Essenburg  I presenter our entire N/W Cherry presentation. We had some very good conversations relating last years crop and timing to this year, They feel that they want to do a better job of merchandising cherries late season. We discussed the competition in the retail food industry and the need to display items at the right time to capture as many impulse  sales as possible. Not giving a customer a need to shop elsewhere is necessary to hold on to customers. 

We discussed the merger of Spartan/Nash and how we may interact with each division.
