Had a great visit with Don Parsons with Associated.  They currently are servicing 225 stores.  I asked if they were connected in any way to Associated of Florida (now SuperValu)  and he said they were connected by use of private label brands only.  SuperValu bought Associated of Florida late last year.  Don has had a few health issues in last few years and says getting the correct wording in the ads have been a problem in his absence.   He knows the value of Northwest cherries to his department and is looking forward to the 2018 season and is planning more promotions for this year.
