Met with Joe Bitonti and John Pfeifer at their office.  Last year was the first year that we worked with Western Beef and they advertised every week, mentioning both the "Buy Now, Freeze Now" and the health benefits.  They plan to do the same this year.  They are a little disappointed about the late start but will still start promoting as soon as cherries are available and follow up every week.  They build large displays and feel like they move a lot of product.  Talked about Rainiers but they have not had any success with them.  Also mentioned soft fruit which they use from time to time from the NW but they say they do better with local product.
