This store had NW cherries on the back side of the front table.  There were only 3 rows of cherries but it was full from the front of rack to the back.  There were no Rainier cherries.   The big item that was being pushed were Eastern peaches.  They were at the entry of the store, and on the front side of the 1st table.  There was a huge display and both together probably was 36 square feet.  The ad said Carolina peaches, but the in store sign said Virginia-and they were some of the best peaches I have seen all year.    This store also had California grapes, which is the first I have seen this year.   The size of both the red seedless and white seedless was very large, not like the medium to small out of breath Mexican grapes that are in most stores now.  Displayed on the same side as NW Cherries were California  strawberries, New Jersey blueberries, California raspberries, and stone fruit except for peaches.  Again the produce items were scattered in the ad sheet/handout with produce items on 5 different pages, displayed with related items.  The produce director told me last week that this was something new for them and seemed to be working pretty good, but that in a month or so they were going to have their own page along with the produce on various pages.
