This retailer had NW Cherries on the front page of the ad. It also had 2 displays, one up front just as you enter the store/department, and another display on the backside of the first table. Rainier cherries was displayed here as well. The rainiers were $5.99 lb. Another front page item was SC peaches. Peaches were very large, lots of color, very nice. They too received prime locations as you 1st enter the department. The store was also carrying California stone fruit and the peaches, plums, nectarines, apricots were all displayed together on the second table. Quality was outstanding as well as size. Some of the biggest California fruit I have seen all season. But the peaches were priced at $2.99 lb compared to 99 cents per lb, so the SC peaches seemed to be selling better. Another front page ad item was large athena cantaloupes priced at 2/$4. Strawberries and blueberries were displayed together on a front table and both were from Florida. I was surprised to see that HT had Florida strawberries as most of competition had California. The strawberries and blueberries were priced at 3/$10. Grapes were from Mexico and both red and white seedless were small to some medium in size. I have seen much better grapes in HT before. Red seedless were priced at $2.49 lb while the white seedless were $2.99 lb. I did notice that the mailer/flyer had gotten bigger this week as there was 2 more pages than what it had been---6 pages vs 4 pages previously.
