Harris Teeter had a very nice NW Cherry ad on the front page with a message on health benefits on NW Cherries. Rainier cherries were advertised on the back page of the ad. Both got a lot of ad space and display space in the store.Dark Sweet were displayed at the front of the department where you enter the store. They were also displayed on the back side of the first table with Rainier Cherries. Quality on both Cherries were outstanding. Prices was $1.99 and $4.99 respectively. Like everyone else this week watermelons were also on the front page of the ad. They were priced at $2.99 each for a 18-20 lb melon. SC Peaches were also featured in the ad at $1.49 lb. Size and color was very nice. The store was also stocking California stone fruit as well including peaches, nectarines, plums and apricots. All 4 items were priced at $2.99 lb. Customers were picking up the SC peaches because they were 50% cheaper than the California peaches and not that big a difference in size and quality. California strawberries and NC Blueberries were displayed together and priced at 3/$10. California raspberries were also displayed in another section with blackberries at 2/$5. Seedless grapes from Mexico were on back side of 1st table and very small. Red seedless grapes were $2.49 lb and white seedless were $2.99 lb.
