This store had NW Red Cherries in the ad but did not have the first bag of cherries on the shelf. Manager said that warehouse had been rejecting product and hoped to have cherries for the weekend. This store like many others this week was pushing melons, both watermelons and Cantaloupes. Not only did they have displays inside the store, they were the first thing that greeted customers outside the store. The watermelons were in the ad and priced at $3.98 each. The cantaloupes were the big southern Athena loupes and priced at $2.98 each. Peaches were from SC and California and priced the same at $1.28 lb. There were hardly any California peaches and believe they were being replaced by eastern peaches. White seedless grapes were also in the ad at lowest price I have seen--98 cents per lb. The grapes were very small. California plums and nectarines were priced the same at $1.99 lb and were small. Strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries were displayed on the rack in middle of department and all on the small side. Quality was fair at best.
