This store had a nice display of NW Cherries.  The Fresh Market stores are not as big as other retailers, but the display space allocated for NW Cherries was full, fresh, and of high quality.  They also had Rainier Cherries that were just as nice, and retailed at $7.99 lb.  Strawberries from California was the 1st thing you saw when you walked in the department and displayed with other berries like raspberries, blueberries, and black berries.  The blueberries in this store were from New Jersey, while most of the competition had blueberries from NC or Ga.  Stone fruit from California was on the #1 table and while color was quite good, the size on all of the items were small.  This store also had SC peaches on display, but they were high compared to the competition and only priced 50 cents a lb lower than the California peaches.  California peaches were $2.99 lb and the eastern peaches were $2.49 lb.  Grapes were from Mexico and priced at a very reasonable $1.99 lb. for both red seedless and white seedless.  Grapes were large.
