Food Lion had dark sweet NW cherries on ad at $4.99 lb.  Display was not completely full and store had no Rainier Cherries.  SC Peaches was an item being pushed although it was not in the ad.  The SC peaches were 99 cents per lb compared to the California peaches being priced at $2.29 lb. The California nectarines and plums were also priced at the same price of $2.29 lb and were on the medium/small side.  Apricots were $3.99 lb and displayed with the other stone fruit.   California strawberries were priced at 3 1 lb clams at 3/$10.00 and on the front page of the ad.  They were displayed with NC blueberries that were $2.99 each and very nice.  Mexican red seedless grapes were in the ad at $1.89 lb with quality being very good to excellent, had great size as well.  Food Lion as well as a lot of the stores was also pushing Athena cantaloupes.
