Harris Teeter had NW Rainier Cherries in the ad at $4.99 lb. The dark sweet were not in the ad, however they were priced at $4.99 lb as well. Dark sweet were displayed in 2 locations, 1 at the very entrance of the department and another on a table, displayed with Rainier Cherries. Both were of outstanding quality. One of the few stores I have been in this week that seemed not to have a supply issue and had big beautiful displays. California Strawberries and NC blueberries were on the front page of the ad as a buy one get one free sale item. Both were priced at $4.99 ($2.50 each). Peaches was the red hot item this week on the front page of the ad priced at 99 cents per lb. They also had a separate display and quality very nice. Store also had California peaches, nectarines, that were priced at $2.99 lb so guess which ones were selling. The SC peaches actually looked better than the California fruit. California plums were also displayed with the other stone fruit and was at $1.99 lb. Plums were on the small side. This store also had apricots at $2.99 lb. Grapes were out of Mexico and looked great.
